Shaykh Abdur-Rahman Nasir as-Sa'di (1307–1376 AH) was a scholar of the Arabian Peninsula, an imam who followed the way of the Salaf as-Salih, based in 'Unayzah in the Qaseem region, and among the teachers of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen. He wrote across tafsir, fiqh, and the sciences of the heart, and what sets his writing apart is that he wrote for the reader rather than the specialist. The greatest knowledge a person can hold is knowledge of their Lord.
