Shipping policy
Processing time
We ship orders the same day or the next day. Orders placed on Friday evening or over the weekend go out on the next business day.
Free shipping
- Within the United States — free when the books in your cart add up to $50 USD or more.
The amount counted is the price of the books only, before shipping, tax, and any customs duties.
Shipping rates
Shipping is calculated at checkout once you enter your address. Rates are quoted live by the carrier, based on your address and the total weight of your order. Books are heavy, and multi-volume sets are heavier still — but ordering several books together almost always costs far less than ordering them one at a time.
As a guide, based on our past orders:
- United States — usually $5–13, most often by Media Mail
- Canada — typically $25–30
- Europe — typically $26–40
- Australia and Asia — typically $25–37
- Elsewhere — typically $28–60
These are typical figures, not quotes. Your exact rate is always shown at checkout before you pay.
Carriers
We ship within the United States using USPS. International orders are carried by UPS and FedEx.
Customs duties and import taxes
Most orders are not charged any duty. Religious books are exempt in many countries, and most countries only apply duty above a minimum order value that our orders usually fall below.
Where duty or import tax does apply to your country, it is calculated at checkout and shown as a separate line before you pay, so there is no surprise when your parcel arrives. Any amount shown is an estimate based on your country's rules at the time you order, and it is set by your government rather than by us.
