About the Author

Shaykh 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Nasir as-Sa'di (1307–1376 AH / 1889–1957 CE) taught in 'Unayzah in the Qaseem region, where his students included Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-'Uthaymin. He is known for his tafsir, Taysir al-Karim al-Rahman, and for a teaching method marked by clarity, structure, and reliance on evidence. Translated by Nasiruddin al-Khattab.
