About This Book
About This Book
The Qur'an addresses every dimension of a believer's life — belief, worship, character, law, and the stories of those who came before — yet its themes are spread across its many soorahs. In Tayseer al-Lateef al-Mannan, Shaykh 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Nasir as-Sa'di gathers and organises the central topics of the Qur'an into a single, accessible volume, drawing out the main concepts and the practical lessons a Muslim can live by.
Across nearly seven hundred pages, the Shaykh moves through the great subjects of the Book of Allah — tawheed and the foundations of faith, the rights of Allah upon His servants, the stories of the Prophets and what they teach, and the guidance the Qur'an offers for daily life. Written in his hallmark clear and evidence-based style, it is a work that helps the reader build a strong and lasting relationship with the Qur'an.
What This Book Covers
The Major Themes of the Qur'an
An organised overview of the core subjects the Qur'an returns to again and again, so the reader grasps the Book's overall message rather than reading its verses in isolation.
Tawheed and the Foundations of Belief
The rights of Allah upon His servants, the reality of tawheed, and the beliefs that form the bedrock of a Muslim's faith — presented as the Qur'an itself presents them.
Stories of the Prophets and Their Lessons
The Shaykh draws out the key lessons from the accounts of the Prophets (peace be upon them), showing how their lives model patience, sincerity, and reliance upon Allah.
Practical Guidance for Daily Life
Beyond knowledge, the book highlights how the Qur'an's teachings are meant to be acted upon — in worship, character, and dealings — to attain closeness to Allah and success in the Hereafter.
About the Author
Shaykh 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Nasir as-Sa'di (1307–1376 AH / 1889–1957 CE) was among the most beloved and widely-read scholars of the Arabian Peninsula, based in 'Unayzah in the Qaseem region. He is best known for his celebrated tafsir, Taysir al-Karim al-Rahman, and for a teaching method praised for its clarity, structure, and reliance on evidence. Among his many students was Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-'Uthaymin. His works remain a trusted first point of reference for students and general readers alike.
Who This Book Is For
A rewarding read for anyone wanting to understand the Qur'an's message as a connected whole: students of knowledge, teachers and du'aat, and general readers seeking a substantial, well-organised reference to deepen their relationship with the Book of Allah.
