Another Ramadan has come and gone. We are here again at the Eid al-Fitr Celebration & Bazaar in Beaverton, Oregon, a celebration to commemorate the end of Ramadan. A saying of the Salaf comes to mind when Ramadan ends.
Ibn Rajab reported in Lata'if al-Ma'arif that Mu'alla ibn al-Fadl, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
"They would supplicate to Allah for six months that they would reach Ramadan, then they would supplicate to Him for six months afterward that He would accept it from them."
Ramadan is a month of change and growth. It shows us what we are capable of year-round. We strive our hardest in hopes that the Most Merciful will accept our fast and grant us our duas. But what happens after Ramadan showcases our discipline. Can we keep up? Can we strive to better ourselves? Or are we falling back into our habits before Ramadan? We must strive to improve ourselves from one Ramadan to the next. We know we are capable because we felt our capabilities all month long. Even through the early mornings and late nights, we were able to feel achievement in our deen.
We will be at the Eid al-Fitr Celebration & Bazaar to celebrate, but also to provide you with authentic books that you can learn from all year long. It's an opportunity to browse through the collection and find something that will help you grow and expand your Islamic education.

A few titles we'll have on the table this year:
