Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan

Shaykh Salih ibn Fawzan al-Fawzan (b. 1354 AH) is a member of the Council of Senior Scholars and the Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Fatwa in Saudi Arabia. He studied at the colleges of the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University and took knowledge from a number of the scholars of his age, including Shaykh Abdul Aziz ibn Baz and Shaykh Abdur-Razzaq al-Afifi, before going on to teach, judge, and issue verdicts for decades.

He is widely studied for his clear, systematic explanations of the classical texts of creed and jurisprudence, and for his defence of the methodology of the Salaf against innovation. His works and commentaries are staples for English-speaking students of knowledge seeking evidence-based instruction rooted in the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah.

Below is our full collection of Shaykh al-Fawzan's works translated into English, available at The Islamic Book Cafe.
