Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan

Shaykh Salih ibn Fawzan al-Fawzan (b. 1354 AH) is one of the senior scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah in our time and a member of the Council of Senior Scholars and the Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Fatwa in Saudi Arabia. He studied at the colleges of the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University and took knowledge from a number of the leading scholars of the age, including Shaykh Abdul Aziz ibn Baz and Shaykh Abdur-Razzaq al-Afifi, before going on to teach, judge, and issue verdicts for decades.

He is widely studied for his clear, systematic explanations of the classical texts of creed and jurisprudence, and for his firm defence of the methodology of the Salaf against innovation. His many works and commentaries are staples for English-speaking students of knowledge seeking reliable, evidence-based instruction rooted in the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah.

Below is our full collection of Shaykh al-Fawzan's works translated into English, available at The Islamic Book Cafe.
