Shaykh Dr. Abdul Muhsin ibn Muhammad al-Qasim (born 1388 AH / 1967 CE in Makkah) is the Imam and Khatib of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, a position he has held since 1418 AH (1997), and he has also served as a judge in the city. He was raised in a household of knowledge — his father was among the senior students of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Aal ash-Shaykh — memorised the Qur'an at a young age, and studied under scholars including Shaykh Abdul-Aziz ibn Baz and Shaykh Abdullah ibn Humaid.
He completed his bachelor's, master's, and doctorate in Fiqh at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. Alongside leading the prayers in the Prophet's Mosque, he holds regular teaching circles there in aqeedah, hadith, fiqh, Arabic grammar, and inheritance law. He is well known for his concise explanation of the Three Fundamental Principles, widely used by students of knowledge, and for his collected Friday sermons.
