Memorizing the book of Allah is a tremendous action, The Quran was sent down as a source of guidance for the people, Allah The Most High has said: “This (Qur’an) is enlightenment for mankind, and guidance and a mercy for people who have faith with certainty”. (Al-Jathiyah 45:20)

And it is a cure for the hearts, meaning a cure for the sickness that lies within, He the Most High has said: “O mankind, there has come to you instruction from your Lord, and healing for what is in the breasts, and guidance and mercy for the believers.” (Yunus10:57)

Allah the Most High sent this Qu’ran, His final revelation which confirms for us what is in the previous books, This Quran establishes His Tawheed (Oneness of Him The Most High)
And verily, it (the Qur'an, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. (Ash-Shu'ara 26:196)
