Shaykh Abdul Aziz ibn Abdullah ar-Rajihi (b. 1360 AH) is a contemporary Saudi scholar and long-serving professor, known for his detailed explanations of the classical works of creed and jurisprudence. He took knowledge from a number of the senior scholars of the age, foremost among them Shaykh Abdul Aziz ibn Baz, and went on to earn his doctorate and teach for decades at the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University.
He is widely appreciated for his careful, text-by-text commentaries that make the foundational books of the Salaf accessible to students, always anchored in the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah. His explanations are a valued resource for English-speaking students of knowledge.
