Umm Abdillah bint Muqbil al-Wadi'i is a contemporary female teacher and caller to Allah, and the daughter of the renowned Yemeni muhaddith Shaykh Muqbil ibn Hadi al-Wadi'i, founder of Dar al-Hadith in Dammaj. She was raised and taught within that institute under her father, devoting herself to knowledge grounded in the Book and the authentic Sunnah upon the way of the Salaf, and was known for her love of the Sunnah and her care to follow the evidence rather than blind imitation.
She has long taught women in creed, hadith, and the Arabic language, and many of her students went on to teach and call to Allah themselves. Among her written works are her advice to women and her description of the righteous Muslim woman, along with beneficial notes upon the works of the scholars.
