Shaykh Mashhur ibn Hasan Aal Salman (born 1380 AH / 1960 CE), who takes the kunyah Abu 'Ubaydah, is a contemporary Jordanian scholar of Palestinian origin, well known for his precise verification and editing of the classical works of the scholars. He moved to Jordan as a child and devoted himself to the sciences of the Qur'an, hadith, and fiqh, becoming one of the foremost students of the muhaddith Shaykh Muhammad Nasir ad-Din al-Albani.
He is especially recognised for his meticulous scholarly editing (tahqiq) of important classical books — among them ash-Shatibi's al-Muwafaqat and al-I'tisam — work praised by senior scholars for its care and quality. He has contributed widely to Islamic da'wah, teaching, and publishing, including his part in establishing the al-Albani Centre in Jordan.
