Shaykh Ali ibn Abdul-Aziz Musa

Shaykh Ali ibn Abdul-Aziz Musa is a contemporary teacher whose work in English is represented by his explanation of Imam Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab's short text on teaching children Tawhid, published as Knowledge Seeker's Pursuit in an Explanation of Teaching Children Islamic Monotheism (Maktabatul-Irshad Publications).

The explanation follows the method of the original text closely: it takes the author's concise statements on the knowledge of Allah, His Lordship, His Divinity and His names and attributes, and unpacks each one with its evidence from the Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah, defining terms at a level suited to beginners and to those teaching them. It is written for the classroom and the home rather than for the advanced student, and it keeps to the principle of beginning with the summarized before the detailed.
