Shaykh Muhammad Salih al-Munajjid (b. 1380 AH) is a contemporary scholar, teacher, and preacher, and the founder of the widely used Islam Q&A (IslamQA) website. He studied in the circles of a number of senior scholars, foremost among them Shaykh Abdul Aziz ibn Baz and Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymin, from whom he took knowledge over many years, alongside scholars such as Shaykh Abdullah ibn Abdur-Rahman al-Jibreen.
He is known for clear, carefully referenced answers to the practical questions of everyday Muslim life, always tracing rulings back to the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah as understood by the Salaf. His lectures, khutbahs, and writings have benefited a vast English-speaking audience.
