Shaykh Muhammad ibn Jamil Zaino (1925–2010) was a scholar and teacher of Syrian origin who dedicated his life to da'wah and to teaching the fundamentals of the religion. For many years he taught at Dar al-Hadith al-Khayriyyah in Makkah, focusing on grounding students and young people in sound creed and the authentic Sunnah.
He authored numerous concise, accessible works on tawheed, the manners of the Muslim, and the guidance of the Prophet, written especially with the beginner and the young reader in mind. His booklets remain popular tools for teaching the essentials of Islam.
