Dr. Aisha Utz
Dr. Aisha Utz (formerly Aisha Hamdan) is an American author and clinical psychologist. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from West Virginia University and a bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, and has served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology in the College of Medicine at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in Riyadh.
She has written extensively on psychology and mental health from an Islamic standpoint, contributing numerous articles to Islamic publications as well as professional journal articles and book chapters. Among her books are Nurturing Eeman in Children, a practical guide to instilling a firm connection to Allah in one's children, and Psychology from the Islamic Perspective, both published by the International Islamic Publishing House.
