Dr. Aid al-Qarni

Dr. Aid ibn Abdullah al-Qarni (b. 1379 AH) is a contemporary Saudi author, poet, and preacher who earned his doctorate from the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. He rose to wide prominence across the Muslim world through his writings and lectures on faith, hope, and turning to Allah in times of hardship.

He is best known for his internationally bestselling work La Tahzan (Don't Be Sad), a book of encouragement and reminders drawn from the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and the wisdom of the scholars and poets. His accessible, uplifting style has made his works especially popular among general readers seeking comfort and reflection.
