Kitab At-Tawheed: The Book of Monotheism

In Kitab At-Tawheed: The Book of Monotheism. The oneness of Lordship, worship, and Allah’s names and attributes. This is a book that everyone needs to read and review regularly. It is the foundation of Islam. It is a book of reminders to keep Allah first, our daily lives and acts are a form of worship when we do it for Allah alone. When we get our consciousness to have everything that we do for Allah alone it becomes a form of worship and rewards.

Tawheed Ar-Rububiyah: Oneness of Lordship 

This is the belief that Allah alone is the creator and sustainer of the universe. Everything in existence is from Allah and under His command. We recognize that only Allah gives life and only Allah appoints death.

Tawheed Al-Uluhiyyah: Oneness of Worship.

This refers to Allah alone deserves all acts of worship. We do not associate anything with worship except Allah. We do not worship Prophets, Angels, Idols, or anything along with Him. When we do not worship Allah alone we fall into shirk. It is important to revise and ensure our intentions for everything we do in life return to Allah.

Tawheed Al-Asma Wa-Sifat: Oneness of Allah’s Names and Attributes

We believe in all the names of Allah and their attributes. We call on him in our time of need with his name that is most befitting. There is nothing that compares to His name and attributes. We are to learn them and understand them.

Kitab At-Tawheed is essential to all Muslims. It’s a book that should be revised. It is the foundation of Islam. It will help lead us away from Shirk, help us make intentions to use our daily acts as forms of worship, and it allow to remember to put Allah first.
