About Fiqh-us-Sunnah, the respected scholar as-Sayyid Sabiq writes: In dealing with the subject [of fiqh, or jurisprudence of the Sunnah], I have recorded what is basic, to the point, and what a Muslim is supposed to know…I say with confidence that I have presented the authentic fiqh with which Allah has sent the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
