Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymin (1347–1421 AH / 1929–2001 CE) was one of the most eminent scholars of the twentieth century, a member of the Senior Scholars Council of Saudi Arabia, and a student of Shaykh Abdur-Rahman as-Sa'di.
