Additionally, the Prophet (ﷺ) said about ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه):\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"252\" data-end=\"415\"\u003e\u003cstrong data-start=\"252\" data-end=\"415\"\u003e“You are in the same position with relation to me as Aaron (Hārūn) was concerning Moses but with (this explicit difference) that there is no prophet after me.”\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"417\" data-end=\"751\"\u003eHe said this when he delegated him the responsibility of [Madīnah] when Muslims were away in the Tabūk conquest. So, he said: O Messenger of Allāh! You leave me behind with women and children? To warm his heart, the Prophet (ﷺ) said the above narration. It is also because Aaron (Hārūn) took Mūsā’s place among his people, as he said:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"753\" data-end=\"812\"\u003e\u003cstrong data-start=\"753\" data-end=\"786\"\u003e“Replace me among my people.”\u003c\/strong\u003e [Sūrah ’Al-A‘rāf (7):142]\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"814\" data-end=\"958\"\u003eThe previous Āyat explains the following statement: \u003cstrong data-start=\"866\" data-end=\"958\"\u003e“You are in the same position with relation to me as Aaron (Hārūn) was concerning Mūsā.”\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"960\" data-end=\"1083\"\u003eHowever, as the Prophet (ﷺ) feared that anyone would misuse this word and claim that ‘Ali is a Prophet like Hārūn, he said:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1085\" data-end=\"1494\"\u003e\u003cstrong data-start=\"1085\" data-end=\"1161\"\u003e“but with (this explicit difference) that there is no prophet after me.”\u003c\/strong\u003e This statement highlights the immense protection the Prophet (ﷺ) dedicated to the prestige of the Message [of Islām]. Also, he is concerned about the importance of Tawhid (Islāmic Monotheism).
